Hello Everyone,
I will be disabling this blog soon and wanted
to let you know, rather than just disappearing
into thin air!
I will be starting a new blog soon.
Please leave me a comment if you would like to
be notified when the new blog is available.
(I think you'll like it a LOT!)

What Do I Say?
My friend's mother died, and my mom keeps telling me I should call her, but I'm afraid that anything I say will make her feel worse. I want to help my friend but I'm afraid to call her.

Harassment at School
There's a girl at school who keeps following me and saying creepy, mean stuff to me. I can't get away from her and so I miss playing with my friends at recess. And then she keeps bugging me every day asking to come over my house. How do I get her to leave me alone?

Advice 4 Kids By Kids ~ A New Kind Of Advice Column
Most advice columns simply offer advice - this advice column encourages children to actively participate in advising one another. Adults and "experts" are not the only ones who have answers... children have an amazing amount of wisdom which can enlighten even the most experienced adult.
There are times when each of us, whether an adult or child, needs a little assistance with a problem. Most of us know deep inside what we need to do, but sometimes when we are so wrapped up in a problem it helps to have someone else "whisper to our hearts to help us listen to what we already know deep inside."
I invite children (with their parents' permission) to participate in this new online advice column to either request advice for themselves or to offer advice in response to a child's problem already posted online.
To Request Advice:
Children may add a comment to this post and it will be displayed on this blog as a new post.
To Offer Advice:
Children may add a comment to an existing post in which someone is requesting advice.
Note:
All comments are moderated. Please give only your first name or create an interesting alias for your comments; I will not display last names. You may include your gender and age.
In Addition:
"Winky & Wonder" will also add their advice after children have had an opportunity to respond first. Winky and Wonder are characters from a children's book written and illustrated by Dora E. H. Crow.
Thank you for participating! We look forward to hearing from you.
